The Purpose of the San Gorgonio Service Center Council:

To coordinate member participation in the California Teachers Association activities. |

2. |
To receive tasks from State Council of Education’s committees and offer information and recommendations to the State Council and Board of Directors following study and discussion of professional issues. |

To establish statewide channels of communication between State Council committees or commissions and the membership. Acts as an agency for State Council committees or commissions to conduct hearings on current professional issues. |

To develop Service Center regional objectives. |

To advise the Service Center staff on regional programs and service needs, and to evaluate programs and services. |

To provide foundation for regional political activities and legislative contact programs. |
